Wetown Group holds groundbreaking ceremony for energy storage system and photovoltaic industry base.

On April 14, Wetown Electric Group Co., Ltd. held the groundbreaking ceremony for its energy storage system and photovoltaic industry base in Yangzhong Economic Development Zone. Attendees included Yangzhong Party Secretary Zhang Dejun, Mayor Jia Sheng, city leadership, heads of various departments, and Economic Development Zone officials, alongside Wetown Group Chairman Jiang Wengong, company executives, and heads of the energy storage and photovoltaic new materials divisions, celebrating the milestone together.

Project Overview
Located in Yangzhong Economic Development Zone, the Wetown Group energy storage system and photovoltaic industry project spans 285 mu (approximately 47 acres) with a total investment of about 1.5 billion yuan. It plans to raise 1.002 billion yuan through a targeted stock issuance in the capital market. The project includes constructing factories and supporting facilities for an annual production of 25,000 tons of intelligent photovoltaic ribbon, a 5 GWh energy storage system, and complementary renewable energy storage products.
