Wetown Electric holds ASTA-accredited witness laboratory certification ceremony.

On December 13, Intertek Group held a certification ceremony for Wetown’s Testing Center, granting it the ASTA Recognized Testing Laboratory (RTL) Level 2 status. Wetown Group President Chai Jitao and Intertek’s Greater China and Southeast Asia Electrical and Electronics Director Xie Xiujie attended and jointly witnessed the event.

Recently, the ASTA review team conducted a rigorous audit of Wetown’s Testing Center based on ISO 17025 and IEC 61439 standards, evaluating personnel, equipment, facilities, and environmental conditions. The team commended the center’s robust quality management system and advanced testing capabilities, successfully passing the witness laboratory review. Following CNAS accreditation in 2020 and DEKRA recognition in 2021, this marks another endorsement from a globally renowned certification body.

The RTL certification signifies that Wetown’s Testing Center meets international testing standards, reinforcing its excellent quality management and product manufacturing standards, and strengthening the foundation for enhancing the company’s core product competitiveness.
